Content

Students will undertake a substantial project, usually as part of a team of students or based within a research group in the university, or with an external industrial research establishment. A variety of projects will be made available to the student. In exceptional cases, students may negotiate to pursue a project of their own, with the agreement of the unit convener. While projects will be of a substantial scientific research nature, they are generally expected to include the need to develop hardware or software systems.
