Aims and objectives

At the conclusion of this unit students will be able to:
  • Contextualise modern developments in Italian politics, economy, society
  • Apply knowledge of contemporary Italy to make links with European socio-economic history
  • Outline a decision making framework 
  • Identify and evaluate the effects of historical milestones in Post War Italy 
  • Critique the development of Italy into a modern industrial nation
  • Understand the complexities and intrigues of Post War Italy
  • Ability to work in a team environment
