Aims and objectives

At the completion of this unit, students will be able to:
  • Recognise the different components of the structure of the Italian language
  • Comprehend and use more advanced grammatical structures
  • Develop cultural sensitivity and respect for a different view of the world
  • Acquire the ability to operate in a local and international environment using basic Italian
  • Display fluency and confidence in basic Italian conversation
  • Develop and apply listening, reading and writing of basic Italian skills

Grammar lecture (2 hours), Applied language class (2 hours)

Assessment

Assignment (20-25%), Test (25-30%), Examination (40-45%), Class Contribution (5-10%)
