At the conclusion of this unit students will be able to:
- identify entrepreneurial opportunities and analyse their feasibility in a team environment
- analyse the commercial environment facing a new venture
- analyse venture risks for their mitigation
- determine human and other resources needed to establish a new venture
- plan for the establishment of a new venture
- prepare strategies to cope with venture risks

- Generation and analysis of new business opportunities
- Identification and external analysis of target markets
- Development of business strategy & analysis of competitive position
- Start-up planning including team formation and establishment of operations
