Aims and objectives
At the completion of this unit, students should be able to:
- Comprehend the importance of cross cultural communication in everyday and business situations;
- Appreciate the difference between the Australian and Chinese norms of communication and interpersonal interaction in social and business environments;
- Understand China’s ability to co-exist with Western cultural forms;
- Analyse the social, economic and political factors that lea to the development of the art or cultural forms covered in this unit; and
- Communicate and interact effectively in the Chinese manner.
