Aims and objectives
At the completion of this unit students will be able to:
- Understand and describe the various levels of risks associated with diverse investments
- Understand and distinguish between fundamental and technical analysis
- Identify and apply taxation planning strategies in an investment environment
- Analyse the need and benefits of retirement planning strategies
- Associate appropriate risk leveraging investments with the risk profiles of individuals and recommend risk-hedged portfolio
- Apply knowledge of investment principles to evaluate companies’ performance from an investment perspective
