Swinburne Electives Plus is designed to give you a set of skills that put you ahead of all other applicants. You can choose three electives from themed streams including:

- Effective Communication
- Applied Marketing
- Establishing and Running a Business
- Information and Knowledge Management
- Multimedia Web Development
- Research & Development
- Social Research Skills
- Sustainability
Many of the electives also run in Winter and Summer terms to help you speed up or spread out your studies.
Electives Plus is now a part of Swinburne's flexible degree structure.
These features of Swinburne's Professional Learning Model are available to domestic students undertaking undergraduate bachelor degree courses.
Restrictions apply to international students in Australia on student visas, students admitted into programs with significant levels of advanced standing and students who undertake Swinburne programs in online/distance mode, designed and offered in conjunction with overseas or industry partners or delivered by Open Universities Australia.
