Student work
At Swinburne we won't teach you what to think, but how to think, get out and make things happen. Our aim is to make you self-sufficient and resourceful enough to create your own opportunities. By studying at Swinburne you will engage your mind and change your life.
We are leading the way with new kinds of teaching and thinking – stimulating diversity, resourcefulness and creativity, and cultivating practical innovations and ideas in every area of human activity.
Here you can check out just a small sample of the work our students have produced and the activities they participate in as part of their studies.

Swinburne Formula SAE
Swinburne Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) began in 2000, the inaugural year of the competition in Australia, as a dynamic and exciting final year project for Mechanical Engineering degree and double degree students.
Since that time, it has evolved to become an interdisciplinary project involving a large group of students from engineering, business and multimedia design.
It is a final year project unlike any other and gives students an opportunity to work in a real-world environment under the sort of pressure experienced in industry.
