Swinburne offers you flexible study options so you can fit study in with your life.

We have online, blended learning programs, part-time, distance education and workplace delivery options.

We’ve got many more study options to help you balance work, life and study including:

Summer and Winter Terms

Swinburne's summer and winter terms give you the flexibility to spread out your study load to fit around your work and life commitments, or finish your course sooner.

Swinburne pathways offer you many ways to get where you want to be, including our Guaranteed Entry Scheme and Pathways Direct.

Recognition of Prior Learning

If you have previous work experience or education, you might be closer to a qualification than you think.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) recognises existing knowledge and experience and measures it against the qualification in which you are enrolled, meaning you may not need to complete all the units of your course.

These features of Swinburne's Professional Learning Model are available to domestic students undertaking undergraduate bachelor degree programs offered at Swinburne's Melbourne and Sarawak campuses.

Restrictions apply to international students in Australia on student visas, students admitted into programs with significant levels of advanced standing and students who undertake Swinburne programs in online/distance mode, designed and offered in conjunction with overseas or industry partners or delivered by Open Universities Australia.
