Students must complete:
All four (4) of the following units:
HAS111 Sociological Foundations
HAS201 Sociological Perspectives
HAS317 Qualitative Research Methods *
HAS318 Social Research Design: Principles and Methods *
and

Any four (4) of the following units:  
HAS113 Sociology of the Environment 
HAS203 Families, Relationships and Sexuality
HAS319 Race, Ethnicity and Migration
HAS292 Sociology of Sport 
HAS202 eSociety: Sociology of the Electronic Age
HAS204 Sociology of Young People
HAS303 Genetics and Society 
HAS314 Sociology of Health
HAS304 Research Project
HAS308 Internship in Social Research  (25 credit points - valued as two units of study)

Tagged Outcome:
Students may choose to complete an additional 50 credit points of study from the above Sociology Major list of units. Students who successfully complete the requirements of the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Social Science program, including a total of 150 credit points from the Sociology Major, are eligible to apply to graduate with the associated tagged outcome e.g Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) or Bachelor of Social Science (Sociology) respectively.

NB: All units are valued at 12.5 credit points each unless otherwise indicated.
