Physics Minor - 2012
Minor at Hawthorn
Description
The Physics minor is designed to give science students an opportunity to study physics at a slightly more advanced level than other students whilst maintaining the ability to undertake a second science minor such as Chemistry or Mathematics. The Physics minor is ideal for students who are interested in physics but not sufficiently interested to make it a focal point of their degree.
Structure
Minors are a prescribed set of units that may broaden a student’s learning, typically derived as a subset of a Major or Co-Major. HMS111 (Engineering Mathematics 1) is a pre-requisite for the physics minor. It is expected that most students wishing to undertake the Physics Co-Major would have completed HMS111 as part of their Science major.
