The Co-Major in Film and Television gives students a sound knowledge of the historical, textual and critical approaches to film and television. This is complemented with introductory units in production and writing for film and television and together provides a strong overall awareness and experience of this exciting discipline.
All Swinburne students, except Bachelor of Film and Television students, can enrol in this Co-Major, timetable permitting.

Structure

A Co-Major is a set of eight (8) units that aim to equip students with a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
A unit can only be counted once as part of a Major, Co-Major or Minor. Where there is an overlap of unit a substitute unit will be undertaken - this may be from an additional Minor, free elective, study tour or student exchange.
