Minor at Prahran
Description
This minor explores typography across a range of mediiums and an appreciation, understanding and application of typographical letterforms and typographical structure as applied to print and motion graphic contexts.
This Minor is offered at the Prahran campus. Students enrolled in all Bachelor of Design courses and Bachelor of Film and Television may enrol in this Minor. Other Swinburne students may also be eligible to enrol in this Minor, please check with your Faculty Office.
This Minor is available to students commencing at Design in 2009 only.
Structure
A Minor is a set of usually four (4) units that aims to enhance a student's knowledge and skill set by either introducing them to new subject matter or expanding upon topics they're already familiar with in their major.
A unit can only be counted once as part of a Major, Co-Major or Minor. Where there is an overlap of units a substitute unit will be undertaken, this may be from an additional Minor, free elective, study tour or student exchange.
