Sir Reginald Ansett Scholarship for Aviation

Sir Reginald Ansett Trust was established in July 2010 to provide grants for public charitable purposes in Australia, with an emphasis to assist children/young people to take their place in life:

• by assisting with costs associated with aviation studies
• by enabling young people to realise their passion for an aviation career and full academic potential by reducing the need to work outside of study, in order to finance their study costs.


Courses Eligible

• Bachelor of Aviation
• Bachelor of Aviation Management
• Bachelor of Aviation/Bachelor of Commerce
• Bachelor of Aviation Management/Bachelor of Commerce

Eligibility / Selection Criteria

To be eligibile a student must:

• have a passion for an aviation career
• be accepted into a full time undergraduate Aviation program at   Swinburne
• commence study in semester 1, 2012
• have completed Year 12 in 2011 (or in 2010, and taken a gap year in 2011)
• have a minimum ATAR score of 85
• demonstrate financial need
• be an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa.


Value

The Scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year for a period of three years. The total value of the Scholarship is $30,000.
