From April 2010, all university students receiving student income support - Youth Allowance, Austudy and ABSTUDY - will receive a Student Start-up Scholarship for each year of their course to assist with education costs. Students may also be eligible to receive a Relocation Scholarship to assist with the costs of establishing accommodation.

• If you are currently in receipt of the Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship (including Indigenous) from the University, you cannot also receive the Start-up Scholarship for the same period from Centrelink.
• If you are currently in receipt of the Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (including Indigenous) from the University, you cannot also receive the Relocation Scholarship for the same period from Centrelink.

Scholarships are paid automatically to eligible students through Centrelink. No application is requried.
