This Scholarship has been made available by Swinburne Alumni to be awarded in Semester 2, 2011, to a talented first year undergraduate Civil Engineering student from regional Victoria or Southern New South Wales, who has had to relocate from home in order to study at Swinburne University of Technology in 2011.

Scholarship applications are open to:

• applicants who have been accepted into their first year of a full time degree in the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) or associated double degree (Civil Engineering/ Bachelor of Commerce) in 2011
• applicants who have relocated from regional Victoria or Southern New South Wales to undertake tertiary study at Swinburne University of Technology
• applicants who can demonstrate a passion for a Civil Engineering career
• applicants who can demonstrate financial need
• applicants who are Australian citizens; Australian permanent residents; or holders of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa.
