Foundation Boroondara CHANCES Scholarships for 2013
CHANCES is a scholarship program for talented young people who live OR study in Boroondara.
The program is aimed at providing opportunities and support for motivated young people experiencing financial disadvantage.

Courses Eligible
Any Swinburne TAFE, undergraduate or postgraduate course.
Eligibility / Selection Criteria
To be eligible for assistance, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent humanitarian visa
- Live in Boroondara OR study at the Hawthorn campus
- Be from a financially/socially disadvantaged background. Applicants must provide written evidence of financial disadvantage (eg Centrelink documentation)
- Be 25 years old or under
- Be able to demonstrate a talent, passion or skill in a chosen area (eg. music, art, sport)
Value
Scholarships of up to $1500 are available to support students with Myki/Met tickets, text books and computers.
