TAFE to degree pathways allow you to gain maximum benefit for any previous study completed - whether at Swinburne or another institution.
Guaranteed entry
All Swinburne diploma and advanced diploma students automatically receive guaranteed entry into a university degree when they successfully finish their TAFE course.

You can take up your guaranteed entry at the next available university intake, or you can choose to defer your offer to pursue other career or life goals.
Simply contact us on enrol@swin.edu.au with your student ID, course you've completed and let us know which of the available degrees you'd like to do.
Credit exemptions
If the degree you want to study is not listed as accepting guaranteed entry, you can still apply for that course with credit exemptions.
The amount of credit you'll receive is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
