Future Students - Information For

Parents and Guardians:
My child has been offered a place, what do we do?

Once your child has been offered a place, there are a number of different options available.

Accept an offer

If your child receives a place in the first round of offers, it is advisable to accept this in the first instance. If a higher offer is made in a later round, they can accept this and cancel the original offer.

Defer an offer

In some cases, students have the option of delaying their course start date for up to one year. Not all courses allow deferment, so please check individual course details.

Reject an offer

If your child does not wish to enrol in a course in which they have been offered a place, they can reject the offer. The course place will then go to another applicant.

Leave of absence

Leave of absence is similar to deferment, but can be taken during the course rather than before commencing.
