Flying
Swinburne is the only university in Victoria offering degree-level flying courses. These courses incorporate commercial flying training at Oxford Aviation Academy (OOA), providing the necessary skills for you to obtain your Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and multi-engine command instrument rating.
OOA provides flying training to the highest airline standards in new-generation aircraft. It is the largest flying training organisation in Australia and is the provider of choice for cadet pilot training for Qantas, Jetstar and various Asian airlines.
Our strong links with industry allow you to make valuable connections that will enhance your employment prospects on graduation. Swinburne has been delivering the world-class Qantas Cadet Pilot Program since 2008 and the Jetstar Cadet Program since 2010.
