Course description
The Diploma of Marketing is the second stage in the Advanced Diploma of Marketing; it follows on from the Certificate IV in Marketing.
Course structure
The Diploma is the second stage in the Advanced Diploma of Marketing; it follows on from the Certificate IV in Marketing. Before commencing the Diploma level, students must successfully complete the Certificate IV subjects.
The fast-track program consists of one full-day workshop every three weeks for six months. Workshops are interactive, highly engaging and are delivered by experienced industry facilitators. Learning must be applied in the workplace via projects, activities and tasks. The fast-track option is only available to people who have an opportunity to apply their learning directly to their current role and who possess a minimum of three years’ experience in the workforce.

Applicants with prior tertiary studies that satisfy part of the academic requirements of a course may be granted 'credit' and/or entry to the course with 'advanced standing'. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. To learn more about RPL and how to apply, please visit the RPL website. Fast-track mode Assessment for the part-time Diploma of Marketing is conducted through an interview process. Student presentation of a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates competence for each of the eight subjects covered in the course is required. Typically, a student will present evidence from their own workplace experience for assessment.
