VTAC applications

If you are applying for an undergraduate course commencing in Semester 1 2012 you can complete a VTAC application and submit it electronically via the VTAC website.

The application period opens in August and closes during the last week of September. Although late applications will be accepted by VTAC until mid December, some programs that have special requirements will not accept late applications.

You also have the opportunity to change your course preferences in December after receiving your Year 12 results.

Swinburne will also consider applications for special entry categories 1 through to 5 of the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS). SEAS allows eligible applicants to be granted extra consideration for course selection.

VTAC stands for Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre. It acts as an application and administrative agency for Victorian universities and TAFEs.

Produced annually, the VTAC Guide to university and TAFE courses is available from newsagents. You can also view it on the VTAC website.

The VTAC toll free number for general enquires is 1300 364 133.

Note: If you are a Non-Year 12 applicant you can apply directly to Swinburne.

Step 2 – Accept your offer

If your application is successful, Swinburne will send you a letter of offer. You should accept this offer by email at enrol@swin.edu.au
