Apply for a Vocational Education (TAFE) course

You can apply directly for most vocational education courses and intakes.

Please note, apprenticeships and traineeships have a different application process, but for a pre-apprenticeship, please either apply online or download and submit the application form.

Make note of the unique application key and password you are assigned, so you can save, come back and resume your application if needed.

Apply by email, post or in person

Download and submit your completed application either by email, post or in person.

You can also apply in person at any Student Information Centre on any campus.

All supporting documentation will need to be submitted with your application (such as certified copies of your birth certificate or passport as identification).

Semester 1 2014 (March intake) applications

Swinburne is now taking direct applications from applicants who have not already applied through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) for courses commencing in Semester 1 2014 (March intake).

You can also apply directly to Swinburne for courses not listed in VTAC.

Accept your offer

To accept your offer, you must enrol.

Upon successful application, you will receive information by email on how to enrol. Most enrolments can be completed online; however, some courses will require you to attend an on-campus session.
